(Senior) Manager Group Accounting and Reporting (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly driven and technically strong (Senior) Manager Group Accounting to join our Finance team at Limehome. In this role, you will establish and operate scalable group accounting and reporting structures, ensure timely and accurate group financials, and act as a main contact for auditors and internal stakeholders.

In this important role you will support internal steering and ensure external compliance as we continue to scale internationally.

How you’ll be hosting with heart:

Build & Operate Group Accounting and Reporting

• Set up and further develop group accounting structures at Limehome as our first group accounting resource

• Ensure timely, accurate and complete monthly and annual consolidated financial statements, as well annual group notes and management report

• Establish a structured and reliable group closing calendar across entities
  

Group Accounting and Reporting Process and System Excellence

• Develop and document group accounting policies in line with applicable accounting standards (currently HGB)

• Design and continuously optimize consolidation, reporting and disclosure logic and processes

• Select, implement, and administer a consolidation tool aligned with our Finance System landscape

• Drive automation and standardization across group reporting processes ‘
  

Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

• Act as the main contact person for external auditors, coordinate and ensure successful group audits

• Support the preparation of audit documentation and technical accounting memos

• Work closely and effectively with local accounting teams, Finance Systems, FP&A and external advisors, where relevant

What you need to shoot for the stars:

• 5+ years of experience in Group Accounting or Audit, preferably in an international environment

• Strong technical accounting knowledge (HGB & IFRS)

• Hands-on experience with consolidation tools and group reporting systems

• Proven track record in building or optimizing as well as operating group accounting and consolidation processes

• Experience in preparing or auditing annual group financial statements and accompanying notes and management report

• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, paired with an ability to apply pragmatism

• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, scaling environment

• Strong collaboration skills, both with internal and external stakeholders

• Excellent communication skills; fluent in English (business fluent), fluency in German is a plus
