Job description

You will play a pivotal role in advancing our ESG initiatives and ensuring compliance with the latest sustainability reporting standards. This role involves coordinating the creation of our CSRD report, managing double materiality assessments, and supporting our carbon accounting and EU Taxonomy processes. You will be working with all levels of the organization, including our founders and C-level and report into the Chief of Staff. By fostering a culture of sustainability, you will help us achieve our ESG goals and communicate our progress to stakeholders.
How you'll be hosting with heart:
Project Management: Lead the end-to-end process of creating the CSRD report, from defining necessary data and narratives to ensuring timely completion and audit preparedness. Review and update our Double Materiality Assessments and support coordinating our Carbon Accounting and EU Taxonomy processes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work cross functionally with various teams including the Management team, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Communications as well as external partners such as auditors and consultants to gather data, meet deadlines, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of our sustainability reports. You will coach relevant stakeholders to ensure that they can meet deadlines and quality standards for reporting sustainability data.
Data Coordination and Collection: Oversee data collection process for global sustainability report. Identify required information, liaise with internal stakeholders to gather data and document sources for audit readiness.
Narrative Development: Write and refine narratives and policies for the CSRD report, ensuring clarity and alignment with company values.
ESG Strategy and Initiatives: Assist in refining Limehome’s ESG strategy and implementing corresponding initiatives across the organization, including setting measurable targets for future years. Provide recommendations to the leadership teams on areas for improvement based on the outcomes of the reporting.
What you need to shoot for the stars:
- Education: you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: you have a proven track record of 2+ years in sustainability reporting, worked as an auditor, accountant or sustainability reporting specialist before, or a related role.
- Technical Competencies: you have a strong understanding of ESG compliance frameworks including the CSRD reporting requirements or other relevant global sustainability reporting standards and technological systems. You are familiar with creating business reports ready for audit. You excel in data analysis and project management. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As a plus you are experienced with CSRD reporting and carbon accounting software.
- Social competencies: You take ownership, love to tackle challenges and issues and keep cool in stressful situations.You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills who effectively engages with different people within and outside the company at all levels.
- Language skills: you speak German on a native level and you have a high proficiency of English (written and spoken).
- Personal Attributes: Passion for sustainability, working with data and problem solving. Proactive attitude, and a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
